Creation of An Integrated Criminal Justice Information System |
|
Built to an open systems design,
MetaMorpho™ uses distributed objects and commercial-off-the-shelf
(COTS) hardware and software components to provide
flexibility for future growth and expansion. A complete
forensic information system can be achieved with coherent
and seamless integration of existing or custom-made
applications such as Mugshot or Criminal Record management
systems.

Improved Efficiency |
|
The ability to process more cases
with a highly automated workflow combined with improved
AFIS accuracy, results in a dramatically increased
number of identifications. The incorporation of a
range of fully automated features in MetaMorpho™ allows
fingerprint experts to concentrate their efforts on
high value tasks such as quality control and validation.
Complete automation of tenprint search preparation
offers customers the option of decentralizing tenprint
from input to regional centres and/or remote sites.

|
Interoperability |
|
MetaMorpho™ conforms to FBI and
INTERPOL implementations of the ANSI/NIST standard
for the exchange of fingerprint information. This
standard governs the connection of AFIS peripherals
such as Card Scan or Live Scan Booking Stations, and
all communication between AFIS on a local, national
or international basis.
