This is due to the complexity of scoring a match as a result of the physical variance of fingerprints. Not only has Morpho Systems’ strong R&D team set the benchmark for the other major players in the market, it’s encryption algorithm has become the ``Gold Standard’’ for the biometrics industry globally.

Yasmin Teknologi has also built a team consisting of a technically sound management that oversees a highly capable group of 23 engineers in addition to two of the country’s leading fingerprint experts with a combined experience of 75 years. A major part of the company’s accomplishments initially were derived from its active participation in hi-tech ventures locally. Among such notable projects were the successful provision and implementation of the criminal Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) for the Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM), setting up and maintaining a Civil AFIS for the Malaysian National Registration Department (JPN) and the careful preparation and execution of the Integrated Terminal and Port Management Information System (ITPMIS) for the Port of Tanjung Pelepas in Johor.
